(14/5/2023) Death of Stephen Gardner

The Fellowship has just heard of the death of our member Stephen Gardner.
Stephen was always at our Annual Dinner and BBQs. He and his wife loved the annual dinner so much that they always stayed for a night or two in the hotel where the dinner was being held. He always came along with his wife and our member Alice Bailie. Generous to a fault he always brought loads of prizes for the ballot and then proceeded to buy loads of tickets for the ballots.
Stephen's family were effected more than most by polio as he and his sister and brother all contracted it at the same time and all made major long term effects from polio. Stephen was what they called an "upside down Polio" because unlike most cases his arms were more effected than his legs.
At our last annual dinner Stephen spoke about how he and his family were effected by polio. He will be greatly missed by us all.

(11/5/2023) Death of Neilly McCabe

Everyone at the Fellowship is saddened to learn of the death of our member Neilly on 10th May 2023 and offer sincere condolences to his wife Teresa and his children Neil, Stephen and Fiona and families.
The death is all the more sad coming so shortly after the death of his great friend Bobby Doherty.
Neilly and Teresa were regular attenders at the annual dinners and BBQs and were also active members of the Disabled Drivers Association.
He was such a gentleman. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
