(12/7/2015) Next Quiz - Saturday 1 August 2015

The next quiz takes place on Saturday 1 August at 7.30pm in the usual venue The Dockers Club, Pilot Street. The cost is £7 per person and includes entry to the quiz, spot prizes, supper and play your cards right.
Hopefully quiz master supreme Paddy Pill will return and test our wits. Come along and enjoy the craic.

(12/7/2015) Games Practice - 15 July 2015

Boccia, New Age Kurling and Scrabble practice continue in The Short Strand Community this Wednesday at 7pm.
We are actively pursuing obtaining bowling equipment and darts so that we can run of heats for the British Polio Games in Leicester in March next year.
Come along and get involved. The practice will continue every Wednesday.

(4/7/2015) Boccia and New Age Kurling - 8 July in Short Strand Community Centre

The New Age Kurling and Boccia continues in The Short Strand Community Centre this Wednesday 8 July at 7pm.
There was only a small attendance last week but those who attended Bobby Doherty, Helen Chapman, Alan Weir and Eddie McCrory had expert tuition from Odhran and enjoyed very competitive matches in both Boccia and New Age Kurling. Bobby triumphed in the Kurling and Alan came out on top in the Boccia.
The Community Centre again provided us with tea and coffee and a great night was had by those in attendance. Hope to see a big turn out this week.
