We are delighted to announce the launch of our Website. This has been possible thanks to a very generous grant from Help The Aged. The website will be launched at 11 a.m. on Friday 8 September at The Stormont Hotel. Any member of the NIPF who would like to attend is most welcome. Let us know through the website or by contacting any committee member. Representatives from Help The Aged will be in attendance at the launch.

(28/8/2006) 2007 - 50th Anniversary of Biggest Polio Outbreak in Northern Ireland

Did you know that 2007 is the 50th Anniversary of the biggest outbreak of Polio in Northern Ireland - 297 cases? The Northern Ireland Polio Fellowship intends to hold a number of events to commemorate this event. Members will be advised as dates and venues are arranged.
If you are a polio survivor from that or any other year please send us details of any memories you have and we'll try and compile some articles about our experiences.
