What can be better a good night out and money raised for the Fellowship as well. A very special thanks to Pamela McGrann for hosting the Beauty Night at Transformations in Lisburn. AS well as hosting the event Pamela provided welcome drinks and a buffet supper.
It was almost impossible to recognise some of the members after their transformation. Christine was heard to say "I didn't know a touch of makeup could make that much differnce" and she was only talking about Ronnie !!!
Winners of the raffle for Beauty Products were Susan Bailey, Angela Orr and Margaret McGrann.
The magnificent sum of £190 was rasied for our funds so once again thanks Pamela

Fancy a girlie night out before Christmas?
Our member Margaret McGrann's daughter -in-law Pamela of Transformations Beauty Lisburn has offered to host a beauty night in aid of the Northern Ireland Polio Fellowship on Thursday 22nd November from 7pm to 9pm. Tickets will cost £10 & you will be entered into a free raffle.
Exclusive discounts will be available on the evening (no obligation to buy), for those who wish to pamper themselves why not have a beauty treatment while you are there (limited treatments available on the night).

Our members and friends never cease to amaze us. Heartfelt thanks to our member Margaret McGrann for hosting a cake sale at her home and to her sister Catherine Porter who baked all the goodies. They raised £76.32 which they donated to the Fellowship. Keep up the good work girls.

(2/11/2012) Next Quiz - 24 Novemebr 2012

The next quiz will take place on Saturday 24 November 2012 at 7.30pm in the Dockers Club, Pilot Street. The cost is £6 per person which includes quiz, spot prizes and a chance to win £150 in "Play Your Cards Right" and supper.
At the last quiz we also had a game of bingo costing £2 with a £10 prize for a single line and £30 for a full house. This went down very well and we hope to have it again at the next quiz.
