We are holding a fun pub quiz on Monday 30 October 2006 at 8.00pm in Gallagher's Bar at Yorkgate. A light supper will be provided. There is loads of parking and the pub is wheelchair accessible. The night is free so come along and bring a few friends and make it a night to remember. Paddy Pill who did the quiz two years ago has kindly agreed to be question master again. There will be a collection at the quiz and all donations will go to Polio in India.

The 8th September saw the launch of the NIPF website. Twenty members of the Fellowship attended the handover of the grant from Help the Aged. Our President Billy Hastings kindly hosted the event at the Stormont Hotel.
Lady Bloomfield of Help the Aged handed over the cheque for £2,500 and a certificate to Helen Nelson Chairperson of the Fellowship. Lady Bloomfield advised that this grant was one of the largest given by Help the Aged in many years. In reply Helen explained that the website would enable us to keep in touch with more of our housebound members. It would also help members to get information on happenings in the Fellowship and about the Late Effects of Polio about which there is little information other than on the internet.
The day was wonderful with many old friendships being renewed. Sandra Agnew attended her last Fellowship function over 40 years ago. Don't leave it so long next time Sandra!
The Stormont put on a lovely spread and people stayed and chatted for hours after the presentation.
